Yili means leaf in my language, Gathang, and this word celebrates the central place of plants in our culture. Representing abundance, spirit and healing, plants are sacred - they hold knowledge, they protect us, and they are our kin. This collection shares my experiences connecting to coastal bushland and revitalising my cultural knowledge, with the help of yili.
